HDRA is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Robert George Nees, 1947-2008.

Robert George Nees, beloved father, grandfather and devoted husband, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, in Bedford at the age of 61 from complications with cancer.

Robert was the president and CEO of The Sloan Co., where he was a manufacturer's representative for heavy duty truck parts. He was a former president of the Association for Automotive Representatives and served on various representative councils of automotive and truck parts manufacturers.

Memorial service: 2p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at White's Chapel United Methodist Church, 185 S. White Chapel Road, Southlake.
